Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Andrea Haefele but most people call me Andy.
Also, most people will call me passionate, creative, dedicated, meticulous, patient, honest, and entertaining. I like sunshine, warmth, and staying home. I enjoy walking my Great Dane everyday. This gives me time to focus on my mental health and physical well-being. My favorite person is my husband of 30+ years. A few things we enjoy doing together are home projects, watching TV shows, or he loves to just watch me practice my nail skills. We have 2 children. They are both in college and working in successful jobs. I also enjoy taking things apart and rebuilding them to be even better. I used to do a lot of home renovation projects but as I have gotten older, I have switched that need for renovating to reconstructing nails and educating other nail techs to learn these skills.
I’ve been licensed in nails since 1993 and educating nail technicians since 2018. My passion is in the structure of creating a nail on whatever natural nail disaster one presents me with. I am passionate about the correct structure to ensure the best looking and safest option for your personal natural nail shape. I am often told by new clients, “I have never seen or had any of the techniques you perform or the explanations for why you are doing it”. I often find myself correcting damage which has been done by other nail artists such as restoring the nail groove so the nail follows it’s proper channel therefore eliminating some cuticle issues. I continue to seek out higher education but I have exhausted the U.S. standards of nail education and standards. I am now pursuing education in other countries to learn their practices and receive continuing education which is not available in the U.S.
I chose to specialize in hard gel nail enhancements so the client can enjoy a natural look without their nails feeling unnatural or heavy, for many years, while limiting natural nail damage. If you are interested in discovering more about my services, I will be more than happy to have a phone consultation with you.
