A Touch of Nails Policies
I value and respect you and your time! I try to provide a complete and quality service but sometimes unforeseen circumstances can occur and I may be running late. Feel free to call me @ (303)651-2327 before your appointment to check on my service time.
I work on an appointment only basis, and I am setting aside time specifically for you. Not keeping your appointment can sometimes be extremely difficult to reschedule and it may result in additional charges for going longer between appointments.
As the treatment time is exclusively booked for your visit upon your request, and this is a source of income and not a hobby for me, I ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late cancellations, arriving late, and ‘no-show’ appointments cost me precious time and money, and you will be charged each time. Please call my landline at 303-651-2327 and leave a message for anything nail related. I will get back with you ASAP. Do not contact me by any other means i.e. IG messaging, Facebook messenger, texting, or email. I will not respond to these means of communication.
***Less than 24-hour notice (up to 5 hours before scheduled appointment) cancellation will be charged 50% of service value***
***‘NO SHOWS’ and less than 5 hours’ notice of cancellation will be charged 100% of service value***
I do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and I will do my best to work with you in cases of an emergency, although there may still be a cancellation fee applied.
*** No young children or dogs in the salon ***
While I enjoy kids, I respectfully request NO young children in the salon. This is to ensure they are kept safe, since I do use various chemical products, and so your service can be done properly, and I can concentrate on you and your service.
*** Arriving for your appointment ***
As the time for that appointment has been held primarily for you, arriving late (more than 10 min.) may require me to shorten your appointment time, not fully finish your service (i.e. polishing), or result in having to reschedule for another day. This is so clients following you are not held up and I can properly perform your service and theirs.
Full fees will still be applicable, therefore, I ask you to be on time to avoid them.
*** Mobile Phones ***
I request that you keep your mobile phone use limited during your appointment. I cannot guarantee my work if your hands accidentally come in contact with foreign materials on or around your phone. It also makes it complicated to complete my service on time or to properly do my job if your hands are otherwise occupied.
*** Payment ***
Please make your payment of cash or write your check at the END of your appointment. At that time, you will be made aware of all charges for that day’s services. A $25 return check fee will be charged to all returned checks. I am also able to accept Apple Cash by using my PERSONAL cell phone. My personal cell is for payment only.
There will be additional costs associated with longer periods between maintenance. Anyone going past three (3) weeks between maintenance will be subject to an additional fee of $10 per additional week, while anyone going past five (5) weeks will be required to reschedule for a full set and will be subject to a full set price of $130-$155.
